Maple Chicken With Brussels Sprouts and Apples Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. of chicken tenderloins
2 Tbsp. olive oil
3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. organic real maple syrup
About 15 Brussels sprouts
1/4 cup raisins
1 medium apple diced
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Heat 1 Tbsp. of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place chicken in pan and sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper. Cook until done, flipping half way through.
Place chicken aside, add 1 Tbsp. of the vinegar and 1 Tbsp. of the maple syrup to the pan and bring to a boil. Cook for about 1-2 minutes.
Return chicken to pan, coating with the glaze on both sides.
Thinly slice the Brussels sprouts and place them in a large bowl with the remaining olive oil, vinegar, raisins, apples and a dash of salt and pepper. Stir well.
